TRAINING

I have deliberately chosen courses, training and employment that support my emotional, political, creative and spiritual beliefs. I believe that through this journey I strive to be a complete person and therefore an effective therapist.

I am trained in Psychodramatic Bodywork. I have been using this method of emotional release both personally and professionally and I regularly train others with the person who founded this approach, Susan Aaron. www.youremotions.com

I completed a Bachelor of Social Work from Ryerson University. During this degree I focused on gaining practical experience offering counselling to different populations. Having worked in social services in an anti-oppression role for several years, the program’s political philosophy was a good match for my background.

I have graduated from the Assaulted Women and Children Counselling/Advocate at George Brown College. I continue to be committed to offering counselling and support to survivors.

Prior to entering full-time private practice in psychotherapy, I worked and volunteered for 10 years in food security and anti-poverty organisations.
